The Goodhue County Fair Board will offer 80 parking spots, this will include single vehicle & camping spots, single vehicle spots are 10′ x 20′ & camping spots are 25′ x 35′. This parking lot is newly constructed, located on the west side of the livestock barns. Each parking lot space will come with a season fair entrance pass.
ALL PARKING SPOT ARE ONLY FOR THE WEEK OF THE FAIR
TUESDAY, AUG 11TH – SUNDAY, AUG 16TH
PAYMENT
Buyers will make payment at the Goodhue County Fair Office
Wednesday, July 29 5:00 – 8:00 PM
Saturday, August 1 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Monday, August 3 4:00 – 7:00 PM
RULES FOR PARKING LOT
CONDUCT & BEHAVIOR
#1 Theft will not be tolerated. Permit holders caught stealing will be removed and their permit spot forfeited. #2 Fighting will not be tolerated. #3 Vandalism will not be tolerated. #4 Drugs & drug usage will not be tolerated. #5 Quiet hours will be enforced between the hours of 10:00 PM & 7:00 AM. #6 Load And Lucious music will not be tolerated. #7 Permit holders are expected to act respectful and courteous toward one another. #8 Littering will not be tolerated. Permit holders are expected to keep their parking spots free of garbage. #9 Outside alcohol is not permitted. #10 All Federal, State, and local laws are expected to be observed.
PARKING
#1 Each spot is allowed one vehicle. Larger spots are also permitted to have campers or livestock trailers in addition. #2 Parking permits must be visible; vehicles without a permit will be towed at owner’s expense. #3 Permit Holders are required to park within their spots and in their spots only.
LIVESTOCK
#1 No livestock (including show stock) is allowed west of the dairy barn or tie outs. A. Prepping/trimming livestock within permit parking is not allowed. #2 Show boxes and extra tack can be stored within the confines of your permitted spot.
PETS
#1 Pets are not permitted under any circumstances, this includes Emotional Support Animals (ESA’s)
FIRES
#1 Open flames and sparks are prohibited; this includes but is not limited to; Tiki torches, fire pits, campfires, hand torches, cigarettes, grinders and cutting torches. #2 No fireworks are permitted.
CAMPING
#1 Camping is allowed within the confines of your permitted spot. #2 Camping is limited to “primitive camping” standards. #2 Camping is limited to “primitive camping” standards, A No sewer hook ups/septic pumping are available. B No water access/hook ups are available. C No electric access/hook ups are available. No garbage disposal is provided, pack out what you pack in. E Leave No trace is observed. #3 Tenting is allowed within the confines of your permitted spot,
UTV’S, ATVS
#1 Golf Carts, ATV’s, Side x Sides, Electric Bikes, Scooters, Power Wheels, Hover Boards, Etc. are permitted to be parked in your permitted spot if used as transportation to and from the fair. A They must have your parking permit clearly and visibly attached. B Under no circumstance are they permitted to be used as transportation around the fairgrounds outside of the permitted parking lot. C They are not to be used recreationally within the permitted parking lot.
GRANDSTAND EVENT
#1 Permitted parking spots are not to be used for participation in grandstand events. This includes but is not limited to: A Storing/repairing auto-cross cars in your permitted spot. B Storing/repairing demolition derby cars in your permitted spot. C Storing rodeo livestock in your permitted spot. D Storing/repairing pulling tractors in your permitted spot. E Storing/repairing pulling trucks in your permitted spot. #2 Any vehicle or livestock intended for use in grandstand events found to be within a permitted parking spot will be removed at the owners expense.
